A Song a Day – Day 310

Thunderstorm, captured from Garajau (Madeira, ... The rain just keeps a comin’. There were more thunderstorms last night, it rained all night again, and it’s been raining all day. That makes four days of pretty full-on rain. The little shed we live in isn’t holding up too well. There are two new leaks, one in the kitchen and one in the living room and once again we’re running out of towels for the leak under my desk.

The main leak is by the electricity box, and earlier on the trip switch tripped. Not a good sign if you ask me.

Never mind. My headache is just about gone, we have generous supplies of  melt-in-your-mouth, homemade shortbread biscuits and the little wood-burning stove is keeping us relatively dry and toasty warm.

Song of the day

I’m short of ideas for today, so this is Chewy’s pick. Stars & Stripes on trombone.  It was this, or the Russian national anthem… but they are pretty good.
