Something wonderful happened today.
I had been doing some editing work for a client, let’s call him N – and delivered it yesterday morning. He replied later in the day to say it was great, thank you very much. That alone would be pretty good. It always feels good to hear that a customer is satisfied. However, this morning I discovered that he was so satisfied he had actually paid me a ten euro bonus. How fantastic is that? I was chuffed to bits. What a sweetheart! It more than makes up for the time when the miserable Italian didn’t want to pay sixty euros for his short-notice, over-the-weekend job.
Onwards and upwards!
Song of the day
Cheesy I know, but I’m still floating a bit from the niceness of some people. Louis Armstrong because today the world is wonderful.
