A Song a Day – Day 154

Random thought before I get on to the music: Sepp Blatter (FIFA President) is the same age as my father. They were both born in 1936, and Sepp is already 75. Isn’t it about time he spent more time in his garden?

So, if Macy Gray wasn’t in the Black Eyed Peas, surely she was in the Fugees? But no. Not that neither. Now I have her mixed up with Lauryn Hill.  The Fugees recorded quite a few good tunes, and this is probably my favourite of theirs. It is the old Roberta Flack song, Killing me Softly.

And before you press the play button, spare a thought for Andy Murray (ranked 4), who is playing Rafael Nadal (ranked 1) in the semi-final of the French Open today at 1pm UK time. I’ll be watching. Go Andy go 🙂
